The Students' Union with Ben Leatham, the new YUSU President and the University are launching a positive campaign around international students called #yorkisglobal. 

The campaign will launch on Monday 3 August and has three aims:

• To celebrate the positive impact international students have on the University and the wider city
• To show international students studying at York that fellow students, academic staff and the wider York community value their presence and what they bring to York
• To celebrate the global perspective of students at York.

The first step of the campaign is for University staff members to send a message through social media channels outlining a benefit that international students bring to York, using the hashtag #yorkisglobal.
